We invite you to participate in the 2026 CEGA Core Conference!

For this year’s conference, we are looking to include domestic and international core-based presentations from a diverse set of plays, lithologies, and energy types. We look forward to engaging conversations in the company of old friends and new colleagues.

Thinking of submitting an abstract? Here is what you need to know:
Each presentation consists of a 20 minute oral presentation and a core & poster presentation. Each presenter will have two core tables to display core intervals and four poster boards to display multiple large posters (presenters do not need to fill all available space).

Submission Deadline- EXTENDED: February 13, 2026

Submission Information:
1. Abstracts must be submitted online via the form below.
2. Abstracts must be submitted on the abstract template provided below.
3. Upon acceptance you will have an opportunity to provide updates/edits to your submitted abstract.

Important Dates:
Abstract submission deadline: January 30, 2026- EXTENDED DEADLINE- FEBRUARY 13, 2026
Notification of acceptance: March 4, 2026
Core Interval information deadline: March 18, 2026
Deadline to submit revised short abstract: April 10, 2026
Oral PowerPoint presentation deadline: May 1, 2026
Core set-up day: May 6, 2026
Conference dates: May 7-8, 2026
